Donovan has been active in commercial real estate for over twenty-five years. He began his career in 1996 with Collett & Associates in Charlotte, NC and established CSM Properties in Charleston, SC in 2001 with the backing of several Collett partners. As Managing Partner and Owner of CSM, Donovan specializes in Entitlements, Development, and Equity Structures. Donovan’s successful track record spans developing single and multi-tenant retail, repositioning value-add properties, and institutional resort assets. He is particularly proud of the strong relationships and returns delivered to his many investment partners over the years, from individuals to private equity firms.

Donovan is a native of Charleston, SC and holds a SC broker’s license, a M.B.A. from Wake Forest University, and a B.A. from Vanderbilt University.
